COVID-19 is a cover story for what’s really going on. The politicians, news media and corporations are lying to us. The numbers do not make the case for a pandemic that would justify shutting down the state for this length of time.
King County was the hot spot in Washington State for COVID-19 cases and deaths, but even here the numbers dropped off quickly after their peak and certainly don’t support this extended quarantine and slow re-opening of the state.
Look at the graphs yourself. We are way past the peak of cases and deaths (week of 3/22/20.) The hospitals are empty. According to their plan, we should have re-opened weeks ago so more people could be exposed and hospitalized.
The Washington state constitution allows the Governor the power to shut down the state to “help preserve and maintain life, health, property or the public peace” as he or she reasonably believes. Does it sound reasonable to close the entire state for 67 days based on these figures?
If it’s not about a pandemic, then WHY? Follow the money. We’re spending 3 to 6 trillion dollars at the federal level on this. We need to demand full accountability for this money.
But it is more than that. Why do they insist we Stay Home, wear masks and practice acts of senseless hygiene?
They have convinced us to sacrifice a season of our beautiful diversity of cultural and family celebrations to one single value: Fear of COVID-19. It is a “shock and awe” campaign carried out on the people of America to get us to lower our guard. COVID-19 is being used like a ramrod to drive the threshold of government authority directly into our most personal spaces: household, mind, body. We must protect these boundaries vigilantly.
Let them keep talking. WE don’t have to live like there is a pandemic. Don’t contribute to this charade. Consider NOT wearing a mask: It confirms the “plague” storyline for anyone that sees you. I wouldn’t recommend getting tested or vaccinated either, but I do support people having a choice.
Go about your normal life. Share joy, not fear. Our constitution is based on power coming from us, the People. We must not grant them this power over us. We do not need their permission to live our lives and interact with each other.
